EXPLORER’S SPEECH CAMP

The purpose of this camp is to provide children with various disabilities to social experiences which are designed to encourage play skills, such as initiating creative play, independent play activities, and encouraging communication. This year’s them is Fine Arts. Children will be exposed to different genres of Fine Arts such as Music, Band, Photography, Art and Design. Throughout the camp, the children will be introduced to activities that are beneficial to their language and social skills. We will also provide the children with meals throughout the day (breakfast, lunch and a therapy feeding snack). We will encourage group activities as well as designed individual activities based on the skills of the child. We ensure that we give these children more language exposure as well as experience.
